Lakeland Florida family came up to visit their son who’s attending school here in the Asheville area. They very much wanted to go outside of Asheville and do some horseback riding and search the internet and found Smoky Mountain Trail Rides in Madison County. They very much enjoyed their two hour plus ride and were amazed at the incredible beautiful views on the horseback trails looking out on the mountain range, and were very impressed with the shaded trails. They really enjoyed looking at all the bison and baby bison roaming the hillside. We told him about the camping area and they are going to possibly come back in late summer or early fall or maybe some overnight camping in the teepees.
